Ep 33 Democrat Dodges Dutiful Dialogue on Debate

Today Rich Valdes reflects on his all-out crazy experience greeting Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) at the National Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City. "As a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn to parents from Puerto Rico, going to the parade with my dad was an annual event. This year I had the pleasure of being invited to March with the Guardian Angels safety patrol group. On our way to the staging area, Rep.Ocasio-Cortez passed by and walked away from her group to greet people along the parade route. So, in the spirit of her “todos juntos” (all together) banner, I made the effort to politely greet her and remind of her of the open invitation she has to debate the ⁦merits of Capitalism versus Socialism. However, When I said, 'Hi Congresswoman...' she looked at me peripherally stopped shaking hands, did an about face and literally ran diagonally to the other side of the street. Thinking out loud I said, 'she can run from saying hello, but she can't hide from the actual issues.'" Comment and follow on Twitter @richvaldes and visit us online at TheRichValdes.com
