Nadler says he’s begun “formal impeachment proceedings”

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) announced Thursday that his committee has officially started "formal impeachment proceedings" for President Trump.

According to Fox News, Nadler told CNN “that he ‘wasn't waiting’ for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who has been publicly reluctant to support impeachment, but added that she's been ‘very cooperative’ with his investigation.”

After being pressed by the CNN host, Nadler insisted that the investigation involved "formal impeachment proceedings" and that they have already drafted some impeachment articles.
