Shots fired, Venezuela’s military is Split over Taking Fight to Streets

Juan Guaidó, President of the Venezuelan national assembly continues to challenge President Nicholas Maduro citing a rigged election, despite being shot at with tear gas.

Flanked by military leaders at a Venezuelan Air Force Base, Guaidó now has support from some of the Venezuelan military and is urging the public to take to the streets to reclaim their nation.

“This is the moment of all Venezuelans those that are in uniform and those that are not,”  Guaidó told reporters. “Everyone should come to the streets in peace” reports Fox News.
