TRUMP: "As long as I am President Iran will never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon"

In a White House press conference on Wednesday morning President Trump said as long as I am President, Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.

Flanked by the Cabinet and members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Trump reiterated that no Americans were hurt in yesterday's missile attack by Irantargetting US military installations in Iraq. He also harped on the strength and lethality of the US military emphasizing that "we don't want to use it!"

"As long as I am President Iran Will Never Be Allowed To Have a Nuclear Weapon."

According to One America News, "The president also previously announced he will be making a statement regarding the attack sometime Wednesday. This comes after Iran fired missiles at bases where American troops were stationed in Iraq.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is claiming responsibility for firing dozens of missiles at the Ain al-Asad and Irbil airbases. The attack comes just days after the U.S. killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani in a drone strike, which prompted Iran to threaten retaliation."

Trump ended his remarks by stating that Iran appears to be standing down and invited Iran to join the peace process as well as saying that he will ask NATO to become more involved in middle east security. Video from The White House below.
