President Trump told a group of reporters outside the White House that socialism destroyed Venezuela and electing a socialist here in the US would bankrupt America as well.
According to One America News, “With 2020 elections right around the corner, analysts are already discussing how the Trump administration’s stance on foreign policy — namely Venezuela — will affect the president’s chances of clinching the White House again.”
Americans have traditionally rejected socialism but lately, the sales pitch from Senator Bernie Sanders and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez May have some voters duped with their free everything for everyone spiel.
However, as we recently noted Venezuelans are rejecting socialism in massive numbers and have a very favorable view of the Trump Administration. Although it’s too early to tell, Trump’s foreign policy strategy to sanction Venezuela until their military defects due to a lack of resources may pay off big league with South American allies and American voters too.
